Configuring subscriptions on Ghost

I've tried to configure the sending of transactional mails on the blog which is apparently necessary for subscriptions to work. I've configured Google SMTP using my email address and an app password but it seems I'm missing something, so I'll have to look at it again sometime in the future.

I also have to figure out how to check the logs that Ghost writes to the disk.

For now I've disabled subscribing. 😦
